Great Lakes Cruising Club Upgrades to Drupal 7

The Great Lakes Cruising Club, a membership club for serious boat owners and cruisers of the Great Lakes, has completed a Drupal 5 to Drupal 7 upgrade. SiteBasin performed the site migration and conversion for the website.  The club has an active membership with over 2,500 users of the site and over 2,700 content pages, including over 1,200 exclusive harbor reports.

Because the harbor reports are only available to active paid members, the site relies heavily on Drupal access control modules and other security related modules.  SiteBasin successfully migrated all content permissions, user permissions and all related security roles.  In addition, all content subscriptions and comment notification settings were converted.  As part of the upgrade, a new Drupal 7 compatible theme was purchased and SiteBasin performed heavy theme customizations to meet the needs of the site membership.
